I am against this proposal as it will not improve the area and destroy a much loved local wood, Burbage Common, with its diverse ecology. The project will massively increase traffic to the area, particularly large vehicles, which would cause major delays and pollution in the area. It is a countryside and local people do not want a lorry park in their neighbourhood and mass distribution centre that will blight the area and lower quality of life for locals. Despite the promised job opportunities there are other ways that jobs in the area can be achieved without this destructive project. The project is far too large and supports large businesses and not the local community. It will affect local house prices and massively curtail quality of life.
