This development will have a significant adverse impact on the quality of life and community of Hinckley, Burbage and all of the surrounding areas. I could understand the rational for this is we didn’t have a rail freight terminal less than 20 miles from here that is equally well connected to the National road network (M6 and M1) as Hinckley is, with better road transition to and from those motorways than the M69 does. With Hinckley as the closest town but with only 2 crossing points across the rail line to local services, this will swamp the existing local infrastructure at both peak times and weekends and making living and travelling within the local area a misery for all, including new local residents living in the new development.
