I oppose the application of the rail freight hub as I feel it is far too close to the common land & woods. Complete detriment to the local wildlife and ambience of quite a large area that is currently enjoyed by walkers & dogs. My wife & I often take circular walks down The Outwoods taking in the Common & woods (sometimes over the train line via the golf course). We also use the cafe, which if this does get the green light from Gove, may not be so pleasent. On top of all this - the road infrastructure is not condusive to the area. There are not many green corriders left around Hinckley to leave the car at home & use your legs!
