Main concerns are damage to our local environment and wildlife caused by increased vehicle numbers on the roads and by train because of workforce and product parts and deliveries. This will impact not only the Common area but the roads around this entire area of Leicestershire which are at times already nightmarish with traffic. Another impact of this will be an increase in pollution to air quality, noise and light. This will cause a degradation to the quality of life to local inhabitants and our wildlife. Local resources are already stretched and this will only increase the burden. We have already lost an uncomfortable number of our food producing farms to housing and development.
