I am concerned about the following therefore object to the proposal: 1) the impact on traffic, both from increased road traffic within the immediate area and delays at rail crossings in the local villages. Traffic is already currently an issue and especially if an accident occurs in one part of the area. 2) the impact on the local wildlife during the construction phase and the loss of the natural environment forever. The site is adjacent to a local common and woodland. The construction will also require access roads which will destroy part of the common. 3) the impact of noise and light pollution on nearby residents. There is a well established traveller site adjacent to the proposed site. Light pollution immediately next to the common is likely to disrupt the natural life cycles of the wildlife. 4) the impact of noise on the enjoyment of Burbage common and the wildlife. 5) the air quality is likely to deteriorate in the local area due to the increase in traffic. This is a big concern. Additionally, I feel that Tritax have not completed their assessments of the site with due diligence. Examples of this are where they reported no ground water at the site, this was proved to be incorrect. They also stated that the scheme would benefit the areas of social deprivation in Hinckley, there is no social deprivation in Hinckley. Hinckley has low unemployment and a lower crime rate than the national average. These and other examples lead me to doubt a lot of the other information provided.
