If this goes ahead it will be disastrous for wildlife, there are a lot of different species that rely on that area to live. We are constantly being told about the decline in hedgehog numbers, and there are a lot of headgehogs in the area that use this space, plus to encourage large trucks, vans and cars are only going to force all wildlife to have to play chicken with their lives, unfortunately these animals have never been taught the highway code. On the subject of traffic, Hinckley is already a nightmare to navigate at the best of times, what with traffic lights at every junc and in between. The volume that this is going to cause traffic to increase by will be exponentious.
