The impact of the huge increase in the number of lorries on local roads in Hinckley town and the A47/A5. The area already has problems with gridlock at the Dodwells roundabout, particularly when there are problems on the M69/M1/M6 motorways or a lorry hits the rail bridge on the A5. There are no plans to improve the A5/Dodwells rondabout or building a ring road by the County Council. The impact of increased noise polution due to the increase in heavy road traffic and the increase in rail traffic near to housing and the only large area of natural environment available to the town at Burbage common and woods.
