I am not adverse to progress and moving forward with projects within our area. My main concern volume of traffic on the A5 approaching the Longshoot and progressing towards the M69 junction. Likewise traffic approaching the A5 from Nuneaton to the Longshoot. Already at peak times the traffic is really bad and congestion is ridiculous. Regularly I have seen issues verging on road rage with queue jumping. Plus housing projects have compounded the issue. A new terminal will obviously mean more lorries, more other vehicles. Before this goes ahead the infastructure needs to be in place to cater for this. Note I do not believe the low bridge is the main reason for hold up. If highways believe this is the issue for traffic hold up then they need to investigate further and look at the true issue. Ideally a by pass similiar to to the A5 from Junc 10 M42 to the A5 bypassing Wilnecote, Fazeley, Mile Oak needs looking at.
