The impact this will cause shows a total lack of consideration for local wildlife and the importance of green space for all surrounding residents. There are several species of bird and small animals across the common and surrounding area, this should not be disrupted by removal of natural landscape and construction work. Due to connection to the M69 and A roads the area already sees a high number of traffic that creates noise for residents. With DPD warehousing also the increase in traffic, there is a large concern over noise for residents. It is said the site will be operating 24/7, this will place huge strain on the roads and the true level of noise impact cannot be clear from the proposal. There have already been several new build, housing sites created in the area. There can only be so much green space removed without a detrimental impact on local wildlife.
