I would like to object to the proposed project due to many factors This project will cause devastating effect on the surrounding environment in terms of the green field s and wild life in the immediate area to make way for the project. There will be an increase of traffic including heavy goods vehicle making the road infrastructure congested and up to capacity. This in turn will bring extra air pollution and noise from the rail and road traffic. This will make the M69 even more congested particularly around the junction with the M1. The additional rail traffic will put an extra burden on the Narborough station which includes a level crossing that will not be able to support the heavier rail traffic and in turn slow the road traffic trying to cross the rail track. The surrounding villages including my own Stoney Stanton will see an increase of traffic making it unsafe for families particularly on the narrow pathways between villages. The recent expansion of Dirft and Magna park and Coalville distribution hubs shown that there is no real need for an additional one in the area. The expansion of this industrial hub so close to residential areas will increase the light pollution as it operates 24 hours a day. The light pollution will increase making it similar to city dwellings - something that people who have moved to quiet village have tried to get away from. All of the above will have devalue the surrounding area and have a negative impact on the value of the surrounding homes.
