This area does not have the infrastructure to support a development of this size. Local roads, especially the A5, are already over capacity and prone to congestion. The increase in lorries on local roads will be noisy and detrimental to Hinckley. The site is too close to Burbage common and may affect wildlife and views from this popular spot. We already have several industrial estates and distribution centres locally and if this development goes ahead too Hinckley will be dwarfed by distribution sites. It is also concerning that most senior employment roles will be filled by people coming in from other areas, meaning there will be little benefit to local people from this development. The increase is traffic noise and pollution is also concerning.
