The project seems to be a rail / road interchange. I haven't seen where the road vehicles are expected to deliver and collect the cargo. If the delivery collection is no not replacing long distant HGVs, how is the project going to benefit the economy and in particular the local economy. If the project is about efficiency and environmental gains, then why isn't the line between Lowestoft and Birmingham (or wherever the good are being transported to and from) being electified as part of the project. The project shouldn't be looked at in isolation of a sustainable infrastructure.
