I am concerned about this scheme being considered on various environmental considerations not least the destruction of natural habitat e.g. hedgerows and trees which I am certain will not be replaced. The roads in the area such as Elmsthorpe lane A47 and the A5 already struggle to cope with volumes of traffic at busy times and how many jobs will really be taken up by local people rather than people from further afield, adding further to traffic volumes? This area is not suitable for such development and there is no coherent national plan or strategy for the infrastructure. Such a scheme is better suited to a well connected industrial development.
