The "project" from what I can tell is just a money making excercise and any potential positive impact is greatly outweighed by the negative impacts it will have on the local area, environment and community. I often use the propsed area for the project for walking and running and it is one of the few areas nearby to Hinckley where you can actually feel away from urban life and civilisation, where there is no road noise or industrial "hum" - which is fabulous for mental health and being able to relax and unwind. Should this project go ahead, this same urban life and civilisation will become even more stressful with the added traffic and disruptions both during building the project, but also afterwards - the local road network is already over capacity and traffic continues to grow as the area continues to increase houses numbers and population. The project will result in a busier town, busier streets, busier roads, more noise pollution, more traffic pollution, which all equate to a more stressful society, and with less green spaces to unwind it will ultimately cause more ill health to the local residents. Still, on the plus side.....oh sorry, I can't think of anything that will benefit me or my family.
