This proposal should not go ahead for the following reasons: a) The existing road infrastructure cannot cope with the current traffic levels especially on the perimeter road and the junction with the A5. This road is gridlocked every day for several hours with lorries etc due to the the amount of warehouses and businesses on the perimeter road and A5 b) The proposal uses land which is part of Burbage common and the largest green space serving Hinckley bur age and the surrounding areas. c) The additional traffic will produce increased pollution levels in residential areas. This will also increase if the plans for a lorry park are also passed. d) The additional lorries and trains into and out of the site will cause an increase in noise pollution in the area. e) The bridges on the A5 cannot cope with lorries travelling along it and regularly hit the bridge/get stuck under it closing the A5
