I live in Narborough village which already has trains, including numerous freight trains, thundering through. The noise and frequency of these trains is at the maximum that such a small village can cope with. The village centre already can't cope with volume of traffic that backs up every half an hour when trains come through. And all those vehicles whilst at a standstill are adding hugely to the pollution of the air and co2 emissions in the environment. Add to that the damage that will be caused to Burbage Common and the traffic volume through Stoney Stanton and Elmesthorpe and these roads will become huge traffic jams. This is not the right location for a freight terminal and my concerns merely scratch the surface.
