I went to the consultation information session - Very concerned about the effect on local roads. A road was assumed that I believe is not happening. In theory road traffic should use M69. This is already congested and certain times of the day so traffic will go through Sapcote, which is not suitable for heavy traffic. There will be increased rail traffic which will have a great effect on Narborough station and the level crossing. Even two extra trains an hour would create major problems for people using the road. For those in Croft (where I live) and Narborough that live close to the line - there would be increased noise through the night There are all ready a large number of hubs in the area - Is another really necessary? This part of East Midlands has quite dense habitation - Leicester is expanding and villages virtually suburbs. Burbage Common is one of very few natural spaces in the area and would suffer from this extensive amount of building plus the area that would come with it.
