Once this land is built on, there is nothing to stop it expanding in the future. There are times even now when I can hear trains, depending on the weather, and this is from Barwell. The noise that this will create will have a detrimental effect on the woodlands of Burbage Common. We have so few places where we can retreat to nature to escape from the hectic times we live in, so it would be a tragedy to deny people of that time of tranquility. Jobs being created is a myth, in that once the project is completed many of those jobs will no longer be viable. This has happened on many occasions. We are not stupid and we will not fall for such nonsense.
