Environmental impact including: air pollution, noise and light pollution, impacting the natural environment including wildlife and plant life. We are already lacking the infrastructure for existing large transport services that currently exist, this addition would greatly stretch the limited infrastructure to a crisis point. Day to day travel within the area is very difficult already any additional traffic will make it impossible - significantly increasing travel time as a result of extended queue. Increased chances of accidents and blockages. During construction with the amount of lorries involved there will be a significant increase in dust and pollution severely impacting those already suffering from asthma and increasing the chance of younger individuals developing or progressing this illness.
