This development is unnecessary because the area is already well covered with rail freight depots. It is a random development not fitting into a national strategy. It will substantially adversely affect the health and lives of the local population because of the increase in traffic, (which will not be mitigated by the measures proposed), noise and pollution. In addition Burbage Common, a well used local facility providing a peaceful location for people to exercise and relax which will be blighted by the noise and air pollution such a development will bring. The Common is also a haven for wildlife which will suffer from such a close development. We do not need additional jobs in the area.
