What is included within a decision notice? More specifically, does the decision notice only provide planning permission for a proposal or does it include consent to other regimes.

Advice given

Once a decision has been made the decision making authority (either the IPC or the Secretary of State) will provide a decision notice which will include:

The grant or refusal of planning permission and consent on other consent regimes identified in s33 of the Planning Act 2008; It may also grant consent for 'associated development' (discussed in the CLGs guidance on associated development) and 'ancillary matters' (identified in Schedule 5 of the Planning Act 2008) which are relevant to the proposal and;
A statement of reasons.
