Can you please advise if it possible to extend the time period for implementation of a previously consented DCO scheme?

Thank you for your email. It is possible to amend the terms of a development consent order via an application for a material or non-material change. The Government has published guidance on this, which you can find here. Without knowledge of the circumstances, that is as much as I am able to say. I suggest that you take your own legal advice if you have any specific circumstances in mind.
