This proposal is completely unacceptable. The area is excellent farmland which we all need for food security. The countryside will be forever ruined and never return to its natural state which will affect wildlife, and or livestock. The solar farm itself will be a monstrous eyesore that will ruin a beautiful natural landscape. The site is in East Riding which is a lot of aircraft and such panels will affect local flying clubs including Breighton Aeroplane club. The level of crime will increase in the area as solar panels and material are much sort off especially in times of rising inflation and are frequently damaged and stolen. This crime will bring OCG to an area. The roads are designed for HGV and such the roads and highways will be ruined and traffic offences will be committed. Residents mental health will be affected as the government themselves has stated that there would be no new onshore solar or wind farms. They bring very little benefit and efficiency to an area and residents as fossil fuels and nuclear energy is saver, better for the environment and cheaper on the long wrong not to mention more efficient. Solar panels melt and explode. We do not want them for these reasons and others. There is no argument for having any solar farms on greenbelt land.
