My family and I moved here 17 years ago to bring up our children within the countryside. Whilst I understand each and every one of us needs to embrace ‘going green’ in every way I feel strongly when it impacts people’s day to day lives and the surrounding wildlife which is precious. A major concern for me is the traffic whilst constructing and afterwards for maintenance. The noise! The lack of sensitivity towards the fact that we as a village already have been impacted significantly with the erection of wind turbines. We will not gain any benefits to the reduction of our electric bills. More ‘eco saving’ equipment being erected so close to properties will de-value those properties. We already have very waterlogged fields and flooding and I can only assume with the vast plans which are being proposed this will create even more flooding to our homes, gardens and surrounding fields. I have yet to receive acknowledgment from the said company of any complaints I have made.
