This project is far too large for the area. It will utilise large swathes of productive agricultural land, used both for crop and beef. East Yorkshire is being inundated with solar projects depleting land required to sustain domestic production. In addition the project in the construction process would require major changes to road structures to accommodate the size of vehicles required. This would disrupt traffic flows in an area that is used en masse for commuters travelling to work, thus project would cause immense disruption to people lives in this respect. In addition this project would destroy a number of small villages and result in an industrialised area. In addition the impact on biodiversity within the area would be destroyed. Many birds nest and feed in the area, including rarer birds of prey. In addition connection to the grid would not be possible for a number of years. In addition the carbon footprint of the project would make any potential gains from solar negligible. This is caused by transportation of panels from overseas. In addition many parts are not recyclable.
