I fully support solar & solar farms, I have had solar panels myself for many years. However, I strongly feel that no land should be given up to solar farms when most roofs are left empty. It pains me to see more and more huge industrial units being built in the UK with no panels on them. Please insist that ALL roofs be required for solar panel location before land is even considered. All new-build roofs, domestic & commercial, should be fitted with solar panels and form part of building and planning regs.
