I feel that putting good producing farmland down to solar panels, especially in a time of food shortages, is wrong. Solar panels should be on roofs or over car parks. The road infrastructure around here is also diabolical at the moment with some of our local roads more track than road so how are they going to stand up to the heavy equipment to install this solar farm. We moved here several years ago and I ride these roads and footpaths most days on my horse - the wildlife is abundant, where are they supposed to go if this goes ahead? I frequently see skylarks, curlews, kites and buzzards all of which I believe are protected? Absolute devastation for the wildlife and our local amenities if this goes ahead
