Impact on the quality of life of residents living adjacent to the proposed solar farm Removal of productive food producing land increasing the countries dependence on imports and exposure to global market volatility Industrialisation of East Yorkshire, loss of open green-spaces which are vital for the wellbeing of all those living and visiting the area. This can only be more vital given the rapid increasing population in the area and skill industrialisation e.g. the Siemens expansion in Goole Loss of wildlife habitat, displacement of large mammals e.g. deer, foxes, badgers due to disturbance and the security fencing that will be installed. Increase in road kill and accidents due to displacement of animals during construction and increased traffic Loss of winter feeding grounds for migratory wildfowl, disturbance of nesting grounds for endangered species e.g Curlew which have an established foothold in the area
