The proposal of the solar farm is horrendous. It is far too large for this area and the many single track lanes. The area will be destroyed by the removal of miles of hedges and mature trees (all carbon capture) for locals, tourists, the animals, birds and flora. This is farmland, producing food, wheat, barley and beans, in these times of wars and unrest in the world we need to produce as much food as we can The noise will be intolerable, probably two years or more of piling non stop 24 hours. It is so very wrong. There are too many renewables in this area, wind turbines and digestors. What is going on with the Government guidelines of 3% and we are being targeted for 6%? Disgusting. As for renewable energy it's ridiculous, yes it can be replaced but not much can be recycled at the end of 20 plus years - more rubbish! Also the poor humans, adults and children mining for various metals in terrible conditions is shocking. The land could not be returned to farm land because of all the concrete and the land will be barren. Flooding would be a very big issue because of land drains being broken. The issue of battery storage could produce severe problems if one of more ignite. Apparently a battery fire is very difficult to extinguish and a lot of fire services don't know how ordeal with it. Abominable fumes, health hazard never mind the ozone layer. Fencing will cause huge problems for deer, badgers, foxes, driving them on to the roads and into the path of vehicles thus accidents. I really do not want to walk, ride, cycle or drive past miles of roadside solar panels, nor will tourists who visit out lovely countryside and use local facilities. This is a despicable proposal it MUST not happen.
