I believe this project is completely wrong. We are living in a country which struggles to produce much of it's own food. Giving up agricultural land for this project is crazy. As someone who regularly walks the public rights of way in the area, I currently enjoy open views of the surrounding countryside. If this scheme goes ahead and all the planned screening is put in place it will be like walking down a series of alleyways with no view at all. The effect on wildlife will be devastating. This scheme may impact a much wider area than just the proposed site of the solar panels as presumably, cables or pylons will have be provide to connect to the national grid. This is a huge and utterly inappropriate development for this area.
