  1. No valid economic justification for the proposal is given other than a vague reference to the need for renewable energy. 2.The scale of the proposal is too big and intrusive for the landscape and surrounding land use in this part of East Yorkshire. 3.The application contains no mitigation measures to screen the panels, security fencing and associated infrastructure or the irreversible damage which will be done by construction and associated vehicles to local roads and verges. 4. There will be no benefit to the local communities impacted only considerable dis-benefits including major disruption, habitat destruction and impacts during the connection of the cables connecting the power to be produced connected to and be distributed from Drax. 5. No time line is given for the construction of the project and when it will be connected to the national grid and be operational.In other words there is potential for communities to be exposed to an extended period (several years?) of activities connected with the application.
