I have several concern's 1, 40 years isn't short term , it will ruin the landscape , we live here because we love the countryside . 2 , Displacement of wildlife . Boom representatives have told us wildlife will live around the panels. Clearly they will go elsewhere , but where ,when so much land is taken up locally with new builds ?. Boom haven't spent any time in the area researching what animals are actually there. 3, The disruption whilst being built will be massive .Roads already busy and narrow 4, In an uncertain world we should be growing our crops rather than using the land for solar panels . The land around here is prime agricultural land , yet Boom seem to downgrade it each time its mentioned. 5, Locals know there are drains in Situ that WW1 prisoners of war laid. This obviously helps with drainage all these years later. There are no maps, so how do Boom know they are not destroying the drainage system or what impact it will have on future flooding? 6, Plenty to say about the carbon footprint and the ethics of solar panels ie forced labour and our reliance on a certain country, but I will leave it there .
