The area is rural & quiet with single track roads. It has an abundance of wildlife which I see when walking each morning from barn owls & buzzards to deer. The area is flat giving good views across the landscape from the public footpaths. The area has already been blighted with more than its fair share of wind turbines, but the Solar Park takes it to a new level. The single track roads will not cope with the heavy equipment to be brought in (they are not well maintained as it is). They will not cope with additional traffic. The quiet rural landscape I walk every day will be lost. The farmland isn't the best but the UK needs to improve its food security as climate change & population growth continues. Turning farmland into Solar Farms is not the way forward. A more imaginative approach to Solar Farms is needed rather than taking the easy option of industrialising the countryside.
