Spaldington is a rural, peaceful community which will be surrounded by huge solar panels completely transforming the area, directly affecting our quality of life. The proposals suggest fencing areas that have public access rights and that the community at large, including myself enjoy regularly. In a time of growing demand for food security it doesn’t sound advisable to me to cover the huge area of land that is and has been used in the past for growing food or growing crops to feed animals. The plans included in the advertising materials used for promoting the proposal were inaccurate and missed vital information like houses and villages. I don’t believe that the consultation done previously was thorough or adequate as the people representing the company were unable of answering basic questions
