There are several reasons why this proposal is unacceptable : 1. There is a climate emergency and an extra flights should be banned. 2. There is enough noise pollution affecting our rural village caused by overflights from Gatwick. Anymore would be intolerable. 3. The case for economic benefits is spurious. Most of the extra flights would be to tourist destinations from the Uk, this does not bring economic benefit to our country, it only enriches the owners of Gatwick. 4. How can we encourage other countries to reduce their carbon emissions, when Gatwick are proposing to dramatically increase them. 5.We are directly affected by noise pollution, why have Gatwick not proposed any financial restitution to our village for the loss of our peace & quiet.
