Chichester College Group supports the proposed Gatwick Airport Runway Project. Whilst we fully understand and appreciate some of negative affects, but we believe overall the the positives significantly outweigh the negatives. Chichester College Group has seven campuses which includes Crawley College and trains over 25,000 learners per year. We believe this project will bring significant short, medium and long term opportunities for adults and young people and will overall benefit the economic position of the region. Chichester College Group (CCG) supports the development at Gatwick as this will help to generate more local jobs, for local people and grow many industries in the Gatwick and surrounding areas. This will generate economic prosperity and help our college graduates to find work locally. CCG will provide a stream of well skilled potential employees for all the industries that will benefit form this development. We will help drive the community value that this development will add.
