My comments are in opposition of this planned activity. Already there is significant air pollution and noise caused by Gatwick airport. Despite not being in the major flight pattern there is significant noise especially in the early morning and late evening. This proposal will result in a significant increase in activity will be detrimental to the population living in the vicinity of Gatwick airport. Already during summer months where there are an increased number of flights the difference is very noticeable. There is also a social and environmental consequence which seem very much forgotten when it comes to these activities. Councils act to preserve trees of amenity value but seemingly have no issue in causing huge disruption to their respective towns for the sake of this project.
