Alongside the obvious increase in noise, carbon emissions, pollution etc. As it is effectively a rural airport which operates 24/7, this would impact several areas of outstanding natural beauty (Surrey Hills, High Weald etc) and wild habitats (Ashdown Forest etc), it would also devalue local homes.
