Gatwick Airport Northern Runway

Utilising the existing Northern Runway will boost the local economy, creating jobs and prosperity all around the airport including where I live in Reigate and Banstead borough. Securing growth for the airport also secures local businesses that rely on the airport for future generations, ensuring that jobs can stay in the local area and compete against regions around other airports. With regard to the bigger picture, the project would increase the extremely limited capacity of air travel in the South East by using existing infrastructure instead of completing major works, benefitting the region far beyond Gatwick's local neighbours. As a local resident, I strongly support these proposals.
