The South East needs more runway capacity. Even though I live on the fringe of the Northern flight path, I still consider the overall benefit outweighs any noise issues. Gatwick have kept their “promises” regarding expansion, and the conversion of the spare runway is a concession to the proposed full second runway. I approve of the expansion.
