I believe that given Gatwick Airports infrastructure- it can barely cope with the flights, passengers and size that it already has. Expand it, you lose more countryside, habitation for wildlife and increase noise and air pollution. I have planes flying over my property even though I’m not on the flight path. I say no!! Gatwick Airport is a fiasco, developing it further will only make the issues there worse. They need to sort out what they already have before looking at development. I am concerned for the wildlife and depletion of countryside which is being eaten away by developments. A stand needs to be made. I am fully against expansion for Gatwick airport. As it currently is, I get wayward aircraft flying over my property, I don’t want more flights more pollution. Gatwick hasn’t been run as well as it could have been to date. The airport is poorly set out and structured. The jobs are mostly on zero hour contract. There is no stability. The owners need to sort out what is already there, before considering expansion, this is not and has not been done. I believe the current size of the airport is more than enough for requirement, it just needs restructuring.
