I most definitely oppose the development of the second runway in particular - the increase in aircraft noise, the impact on climate change, the devaluing of my home, the destruction of rural life, the unknown effect of increase aircraft pollution on local communities (human and livestock) and detrimental effect on general wellbeing through an increase in aircraft movements. Also of concern is the lack of surface transport, the continued decline in air quality, lack of affordable housing and amenities, and there is no existing northern runway currently operating as a 2nd runway in conjunction with the main runway as such . Gatwick is misleading residents to the existence of a 2nd runway currently as it has done about most things since 2013 when GAL changed flight paths and night flying hours without consulting local residents and LAs. The increased aircraft numbers were introduced under the cover of a so called ANIDS “trial” which surprise surprise became permanent overnight.
