Gatwick is big enough. I twas decided in 2017 that Heathrow would be the site for any expansion of London area and not Gatwick so there is no case for expanding Gatwick. The additional noise and air Pollution created by any further expansion of Gatwick airport will further effect the health and quality of life of communities within a wide circumference of the airport. Control of Air Traffic in the south of London is already challenging and any additional capacity at Gatwick will exacerbate the problem and the risk. This proposed project is detrimental to the health of people living, not only around around Gatwick airport but across a large area of south east England as it will increase noise and air pollution that is already a recognised problem.
