I have been in my home for 27 years and when we came here there were no aircraft noise, now we have them directly over us. We cannot sleep in the summer, my wife wants to move, I do not as this is my home that Gatwick has made awful. The current runway route is awful and now Gatwick wants a second runway - this only benefits the owners. Level up the aviation industry in this country and move it around. The investors will say they can't do it - yes they can, they need to invest for the long term and not the short term. The traffic increase is quite large with increasingly aggressive drivers on local roads harassing us all at high speeds. We have a right to sleep at night and already this is broken by Gatwick. We do not want to sleep with closed windows, and even work with closed windows due to noise. The traffic is detrimental to health and the road cannot support Gatwick. Gatwick has jammed every hour of a long day with loud and polluting aircraft - not for the benefit of the UK but for their shareholders.
