I am totally opposed to any expansion at Gatwick. I already suffer from the noise daily of planes from Gatwick Expansion at Gatwick will blight the whole South East travel area which is already broken and hold ups from the M 25 area into the roads around Gatwick have a knock-on affect. We are being told to curb our travel by road and air to protect the planet. So expansion will only make things worse. Air quality which is already affected will also be unbearable. I have attended meetings and it is obvious people who live in this area and the Councils are totally opposed to this plan. Any expansion of Gatwick will be detrimental to the whole of this part of Sussex/Surrey. It will adversely affect the congestion of the roads which already are so overcrowded. In Reigate we have noticed huge increase of planes now overhead making it impossible at times to sit outside. It seems incredulous to me that this is even being suggested during the times when we are all supposed to be saving the planet, and even the expense of the new proposed rail link has now, been scrapped. The air quality is already not good and will not be improved by further development at Gatwick.
