I have several objections to the proposed Gatwick plans. Firstly in a climate crisis it is suicidal to encourage air travel which is a major polluter. Secondly the air quality is poor enough with the M25, M23 Heathrow over flights and the existing Gatwick traffic. Adding to this is irresponsible and shows lack of concern for local residents. Noise pollution is also another major factor in the quality of life and it is bad at present without more flights. All this is for a greedy company who wish to raise profits at the expense of the people living in this area.
