Gatwick airport are misrepresenting an emergency runway as a '2nd runway' in an attempt to overturn a previous decision to locate an extra runway for London at Heathrow. The project or application should not be allowed to proceed on the grounds of: 1. Entirely inadequate infrastructure and travel planning. The M23/M25 axis already fails to handle the level of traffic heading to and from the airport. The rail line is in need of significant upgrade. 2. Little or no consideration of the increase in air pollution and noise levels and the impact on local communities. 3. Heathrow was chosen as the extra London runway site after a huge public consultation. I ask that this application is thrown out.
