My home is under the northern edge of the holding pattern for Gatwick and the aircraft noise is already intrusive at current levels of operation. I am very concerned about the considerable increase in flights once the Northern Runway is fully working. Road traffic on the M25/M23/A25/A23 and the A217 is very heavy at peak times and busy most of the time. The A25, which concerns me most, has very little capacity now and grinds to a halt whenever vehicles are diverted off the motorways. I have not seen any mention of upgrading the A25 to cope. The A217 is a particular worry when the M23 has a problem around the airport because it has become the de facto alternative route, making Reigate town centre impassable. What are the specific road improvement proposals?
