It’s the noise and air pollution that worry me. I moved to Rudgwick in lockdown when all planes were grounded. Then it reopened! The noise is unbearable, all day and all night. Planes every minute when it’s busy. I can’t sleep, I can’t relax with the window open. I can’t go to bed early or sleep in. I work full time and I am struggling!! Then there is the pollution to the air, which we breathe, the rivers and lakes. When ever I book a flight it’s easy, (not that I flown anywhere since 2019) it’s not like we need more!! The 78% that agree with the 2nd runway probably live without the constant noise of aircraft!!
