I am concerned about a few things regarding the proposed expansion of Gatwick airport. 1) Increased pollution. There are some days when you can smell fumes. I don't know what is the cause of this but I suspect the increase of flights will make it worse. 2) Impact of extra traffic locally and whether the local roads will be improved. 3) Increase in aircraft noise due to many more flights taking off over the town. 4) With an expected 14,000 new staff, I believe many will want to live locally putting a great strain on local housing and services.
